  Chris Hooper serves as the Acting Central Region Director for the Federal Executive Board. In this role Chris oversees a 16-state area. In addition to managing regional staff, Chris is responsible for uniting top federal executives within the region, providing platforms for leaders unite under a shared vision of government service that is efficient, collaborative, and community focused This leadership ensures that the collective efforts of the FEBs not only advance federal operations but also significantly contribute to the well-being and support of local communities.  

  Previously, Chris worked for Tinker AFB, serving as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Federal Executive Board from September 2019- August 2023 and the National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency, serving as the Executive Director of the St. Louis Federal Executive Board from December 2016 - September 2019.  

  Chris is a retired U.S. Coast Guard officer with his assignments including serving as a helicopter search and rescue flight mechanic and electrician in Alaska and California, Field Recruiter in Oklahoma, and Executive Officer, USCG Group Upper Mississippi River, Keokuk, Iowa.  

  He earned his undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management from Southern Nazarene University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. A native Oklahoman, Chris resides with his wife in Yukon, Oklahoma. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.
