  Dr. Jonlee Anderle serves as the Central Regional Director, overseeing sixteen states, for the Federal Executive Boards.

  In addition to managing regional staff, he is responsible for uniting top federal executives within the region and providing platforms for leaders to unite under a shared vision of government service that is efficient, collaborative, and community focused.  His leadership ensures that the collective efforts of the FEBs not only advance federal operations, but also significantly contribute to the well-being and support of local communities. 

  Prior to his current role, he was the former Regional Administrator for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Region 5 (Great Lakes Region), overseeing the Federal highway safety programs in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.  He joined the U.S. Department of Transportation in 2018, after working more than twenty-five years in law enforcement, highway safety planning and grant management, and in academia in Wyoming.

  He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Master’s in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Learning Design and Technology.
