About This FEB

The COFEB now serves over 220 federal field offices, with approximately 34,500 federal employees in the 64 counties and 52,000 military members (Active duty, Reserve/National Guard) at six military installations throughout the state.

Committees

  • Emergency Preparedness Council: facilitates interagency communication, shared resources, and workforce education in the area of emergency preparedness, employee safety and continuity planning.  The Council communicates, collaborates, and coordinates programs and services to synchronize efficient, effective use of resources and further agency expertise in continuity planning and emergency preparedness. 
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution Program: provides government agencies in state and the region (CO, MT, ND, SD, UT, & WY) with free or low cost mediation services through a cadre of trained federal volunteer mediators. Our trained mediators help resolve workplace conflicts and pre-EEO complaints throughout Colorado and the region. The mediators help settle disputes ranging from work style differences and personality conflicts to cases involving harassment, discrimination or unfair treatment.
  • Workforce Development Council: ensures organizational continuity among the disciplines within this business line and guides the development of programs and services that support the CFEB mission.  It is comprised of professionals in HR, ADR, EEO, SEP, Training, and Employee Wellness.
