The Honolulu-Pacific Federal Executive Board’s FY2023 Operating Plan provides more detail on the HPFEB’s activities. Although only the senior agency official can serve as a FEB Principal Member, any Federal employee in the Honolulu-Pacific area may participate in most FEB programs and activities.

HPFEB Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is charged with the formulation and guidance of HPFEB programs and services.
The HPFEB can have up to seventeen (17) members on its Executive Committee, consisting of Standing (non-elected) members and At-Large (elected) members. Executive Committee Members serve a minimum of two years, and nominations are confirmed by annual vote of the full FEB membership if there are contested positions.

HPFEB Emergency Preparedness Working Group
The HPFEB holds quarterly meetings designed to support its members’ emergency readiness and resilience. Please contact colby.stanton@opm.gov for information about upcoming meetings.

The HPFEB also maintains an All Hazards Emergency Notification and Advisory Plan that outlines how Federal Agencies located within the State of Hawaii will be contacted and the communications and collaborative efforts to build situational awareness amongst federal agency partners. It also provides guidance to help prepare for the dismissal of federal employees in anticipation of or during natural or manmade disasters. In this role, the HPEB will serve primarily to partner with Hawaii federal agencies to disseminate information and build mutual situational awareness on agency decisions and operating status during an emergency event.
HPFEB Training Committee
The HPFEB Training Committee meets monthly to discuss training needs and offer unique training opportunities that Federal employees do not receive from their agencies. Please contact colby.stanton@opm.gov for information about upcoming meetings.

Recruit, Retain, Engage Committee
The HPFEB Recruit, Retain, Engage Committee meets quarterly to discuss opportunities to support interagency recruitment and retention, encouraging career paths for the next generation and facilitating employee engagement.
