Welcome to the Philadelphia FEB. The formal area covered by the Philadelphia FEB includes Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania, and Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester counties in New Jersey.
About This FEB
The Philadelphia FEB represents over 150 Agencies with approximately 45,000 employees, including civilians, military, and postal workers. Operationally, we cover southern New Jersey from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst to Cape May, and northern Delaware as far south as New Castle County. Within the City of Philadelphia, there are 25,000 federal employees which makes the federal government one of the largest employers in the City. Agencies with the largest footprint include the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Internal Revenue Service, and the U.S. Navy. Major programming supported by the Philadelphia FEB includes: Excellence in Government Awards, EEO/Diversity Day of Training, Intergovernmental Continuity Exercise Liberty Down, and Eastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey Combined Federal Campaign.

Committees
- Federal Interagency Committee: comprised on Agency heads or their designated representatives. They focus on sharing information across agencies, inviting speakers to address the committee on items relevant to them managing their respective agencies.
- Co-Chair: David Marable, DOL

- Emergency Preparedness & Security Council: composed of emergency/safety officers from agencies through the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore areas. They discuss items to help their agencies be prepared for any emergencies, create contingency plans, and an annual COOP exercise.

- Partners in Equality Council: composed of EEO officers and other employees at agencies who are responsible for diversity issues. They discuss EEO and diversity issues that are relevant to their respective agencies, sharing information between agencies openly.

- Public Affairs Committee: composed of PR professionals at agencies throughout the Philadelphia area. They focus on discussing HR issues that impact their respective agencies.
