Welcome to the Newark FEB. The FEB represents more than 50 Federal agencies located in the counties of five Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren.
About This FEB
We proudly represent over 17,600 dedicated and committed Federal employees. The agencies with the largest footprint include the U.S. Army, Department of Veterans Affairs, Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Protection, and Department of Justice.

Committees
- Awards Committee: reviews and approves all award recommendations of the various awards nominations by the federal agencies members of the New York City and Newark FEBs. The Awards Committee is to recognize individuals and teams who exemplify the excellence in government through their professionalism, commitment, and diligence.
- Newark Chair: Andrea Lewis-Walker, US Courts
- NYC Chair: Dennis Gonzalez, HHS
- Continuity and Emergency Preparedness Committee: supports Continuity of Operations/Government by supporting the development of emergency plans, emergency response procedures and related training for the federal agencies’ members of the FEB. Conduct regular trainings and annual COOP Table-top Exercises with the participation of the federal, state, and local agencies in the area.

- Women in Government Committee: dedicated to advancing and empowering women by fostering professional development and growth opportunities in the government through a community that supports women’s leadership in government relations.

- Heritage and Cultural Diversity Committee: promotes activities and strategies to diversify the government’s membership and to keep the government engaged with diverse communities, and based on those activities, to recommend events and other activities to the Executive Board.
