Welcome to the New York City FEB. The FEB represents more than 50 Federal agencies located in the five boroughs of New York City (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island), Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
About This FEB
We proudly represent over 28,600 dedicated and committed Federal employees. The agencies with the largest footprint include Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Justice, Transportation Security Administration, Social Security Administration, and Customs and Border Protection.

Committees
- Awards Committee: reviews and approves all award recommendations of the various awards nominations by the federal agencies members of the New York City and Newark FEBs. The Awards Committee is to recognize individuals and teams who exemplify the excellence in government through their professionalism, commitment, and diligence.

- Continuity and Emergency Preparedness Committee: supports Continuity of Operations/Government by supporting the development of emergency plans, emergency response procedures and related training for the federal agencies’ members of the FEB. Conduct regular trainings and annual COOP Table-top Exercises with the participation of the federal, state, and local agencies in the area.
